About Me

G’day there ...

My name is Geoff Farrugia (Geoff will do) and I have a passion for helping people like you, to achieve satisfying jobs and careers. I live in Australia with my wife, grown up children, grand children and three dogs. Two of the dogs are elderly citizens in dog years (90 years plus), and the other one is a pup, which terrorises them and drives me batty. The pup keeps the old dogs mobile and me busy looking for the lost balls I’ve thrown for the pup to chase!

Geoff

My background has always been focused on education and training, with a particular preference in working one-on-one with people to help improve their self-esteem and career prospects. As a result of this passion, I have qualifications as a career counsellor, workplace trainer/assessor and recognition with the Australian Council of Educational Research as an MBTI trainer and facilitator. I can also help individuals and couples/partners understand themselves and each other a little better using additional personality indicators. In all, I have spent over thirty years helping people from all walks of life believe in themselves and develop both personally and professionally.

I now wish to share my knowledge and passion with you. I would like to think that each and every one of you or who reads pages from my website will take home something of value, which will improve your ability to apply for and win jobs or just feel better about yourself. The articles I have written are intended to provide you insight into the depth of your potential and the importance of the contributions you make, whether acknowledged or not and the importance of holding onto dreams and aspirations despite adversity during your career journeys. It is also of vital importance, that during your working life, you find something you're passionate about whether within or outside your career and you pursue it relentlessly, not for the money but for the joy it brings you.

Always remember, that it does not take brilliance or a truckload of qualifications to succeed in life and career. What it takes is a positive outlook, a willingness to overcome adversity and a strong sense of self which allows you to push boundaries and achieve in ways others would not dream possible. The difference between each and every one of you is your willingness to listen, learn and not try, but take action in areas that are important to you.  Take care, be good to yourself and may your success in life be only limited by the size of your dreams and the esteem that you hold for the most important person in the world-you.

And remember…….

What you believe yourself to be, you are.

Be great, always!
